RatingPing Privacy Policy
Version 1.0 — September 2026 (draft, pending attorney review)
1. Data We Collect
- Account data: email address, password (handled by Firebase Authentication — we never see it), and the timestamped record of your Terms/Privacy acceptance.
- Connected business data: your Google Business Profile locations (name, address), their public reviews (author name, star rating, text, timestamp), and the reply drafts you generate.
- Alert preferences: your email/SMS number/Slack webhook for alerts, and your rating threshold.
- Usage data: basic event logs (sign-in, location connects, draft generations) used to operate and improve the Service.
2. Purposes of Processing
We use your data to operate RatingPing: monitor your Google reviews, send the alerts you configured, generate reply drafts, bill paid plans, prevent fraud and abuse, and communicate about the Service.
3. Data Controller
The data controller is TRYZEUS LLC, a California limited liability company. Contact: support@ratingping.com.
4. Subprocessors and Sharing
We share data only as needed to run the Service: Firebase/Google Cloud (hosting, auth, database), Google (Business Profile APIs), and our email/SMS delivery providers. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
5. Data Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. Delete your account (or disconnect a location) and the associated data is deleted within 30 days, except where legal obligations require longer retention.
6. Your Rights
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@ratingping.com. California residents may exercise CCPA rights; EEA/UK users may exercise GDPR rights, including lodging a complaint with their supervisory authority.
7. Security Measures
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), HTTP-only session cookies, per-IP rate limiting, and CAPTCHA on signup. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify you of breaches as required by law.
8. Children's Data
RatingPing is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's data.
9. Changes to This Policy
Material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
